Reiki - Healing

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese healing technique in which I am trained in the Usui method. The term "Reiki" combines ‘Rei,’ meaning universal, and ‘ki,’ meaning life force energy. Practitioners channel universal energy through themselves to help restore balance to the client’s energy.

 

Reiki addresses the entire person— mind, spirit, body & emotions—resulting in numerous beneficial effects, including relaxation and a sense of peace and well-being. Although Reiki has a spiritual aspect, it is not a religion, and there are no beliefs required to receive or benefit from it.

 

During a Reiki session, the recipient remains clothed and either lies on a couch or sits in a chair to relax. The practitioner gently places their hands in a series of non-intrusive positions on or near the body, without any massage or manipulation. The treatment focuses on the whole person rather than specific areas, although extra attention can be given to specific points that may require it, such as injuries/traumas.

 

Guided visualisation can sometimes be incorporated with Reiki, making it effective for proactive healing, such as addressing injuries or clearing blockages in the body. 

 

Reiki sessions typically last about an hour and are priced at £60 each. 

 

Reiki Sessions via online session are priced at £50 each. 

 

Remote/Distant Reiki sessions are conducted without Zoom, but we will communicate before and after the session via phone. Contact me for further details. £40 each.

 

I offer both remote and face-to-face sessions, with in-person appointments available at my treatment room in Penzance.
